Sarah Harding's estranged father has accused 'Celebrity Big Brother' bosses of "cruelly exploiting" her for ratings.
The Girls Aloud singer has not spoken to her dad John Hardman for 17 years but he has been horrified to see her having several emotional meltdowns on the show.
He told the Daily Mirror: "Sarah's being cruelly exploited for ratings purposes. It would be in her bests interests if 'Celebrity Big Brother' arranged for her to leave - her health is in jeopardy.
"I can't bear to see my daughter break down and be forced to open her heart once more about her insecurities and vulnerabilities in front of cameras.
"It's cruel TV."
And, he called her appearance on the Channel 5 reality TV show "demeaning".
He added: "With the amazing career that she's already enjoyed, she doesn't actually need to be in the house at all.
"She's enjoyed huge success with Girls Aloud. It's so demeaning for her.
""I've forced myself to watch three episodes and am appalled at the use of her F and C words, the general level of obscenities uttered, and her overall humiliation.
"The crude language isn't her as she was properly brought up. She comes from a professional background of doctors and legal experts, and even had an uncle in politics.
"But she's now so traumatised on air that she's crying out for real love."
This week, viewers were shocked to see Sarah, 35, break down following arguments with actor Paul Danan , 39, and reality TV star Jemma Lucy , 29.
