Sarah Harding is "terrified" about returning to acting and starring on 'Coronation Street'.
The former Girls Aloud singer thinks she has a lot to live up to when she makes her debut on the ITV soap and is particularly worried about her appearance on "high-definition" TV.
Sarah told The Sun newspaper: "I'm doing a lot of facials because I'm gearing up for my first episode. High-definition TV is terrifying and TV adds a stone to your appearance."
But it's not just her looks that are making her nervous.
She added: "I'm really terrified because people have made such a big deal about it. It's been a while since I've acted and 'Corrie' is such a big deal. It's made me more nervous."
Despite being anxious, the 'St. Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold' would love longevity in her role on Weatherfield.
Sarah explained: "It definitely feels an exciting time. I'm a huge Corrie fan. I'd love it if my character could pop in and out for years."
Known to be loud and chatty, Sarah has found it hard to keep the details of her character's storyline a secret, especially with family members.
The 33-year-old blonde beauty admitted: "The level of secrecy has been totally insane. I have to really watch what I say. My mum reads all those soap magazines and is always telling me, 'This is going to happen'. I've told her a few things but not everything."
Starring in 'Corrie' will be a new chapter for the former singer - who has had a troubled past with relationships - after dating the wrong kind of men.
Sarah, who has dated Calum Best, Steve Jones and was engaged to DJ Tom Crane, shared: "I've let a lot of ar*eholes into my life in the past. I have lived and learned - and boy, have I learned!"
