Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, is to present 'This Morning' on Monday (20.11.23).
The 64-year-old author - who was previously married to Prince Andrew - will take a seat on the famous sofa alongside Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, but is also guest editing the programme and will oversee segments including how to rehome a dog, the importance of defibrillators, skin protection, and an interview with Sir Cliff Richard.
She said in a statement: "I have appeared on 'This Morning' before, but this time I am coming back in a very different role. I love live TV and am an enormous fan of the show, and the whole team is always lovely to deal with.
"I'm looking forward to being there for the whole morning, and thrilled to be guest editing the show which will mean getting to explore some topics I’m passionate about."
And 'This Morning' bosses are "delighted" to have the duchess on board.
Editor Martin Frizell said: "We are all delighted Sarah, Duchess of York wanted to come back here and I’m very happy for her to make some of my decisions on Monday.
"She has a great understanding of the show and how television works and I feel viewers will be really interested in the running order she is putting together."
The 'Her Heart for a Compass' writer appeared on 'This Morning' back in March, and then-host Holly Willoughby asked if she's like to return at some point for a "love phone-in".
She said at the time: "Holly, I would love to do that maybe when you’re back from your annual leave and the Easter holidays!
"But there’s no question, that is right on topic. We love to love."
