EastEnders' Ronnie Mitchell is set to get "dangerous" in coming weeks as she struggles to deal with her thoughts following her release from prison.
The troubled blonde - played by Samantha Womack - will show a darker side to her personality in coming weeks as she struggles to keep her thoughts together following her release from prison in the summer.
Samantha says "Nobody knows what Ronnie has become through everything she's been through. She's all over the place - she's going to get dangerous."
The 40-year-old actress - who returned to the show after taking two years out has admitted she is excited about the dramatic plot twists that her alter-ego has in store and is looking forward to the audience's reaction.
She explained: "It's about time we made the audience feel uncomfortable about Ronnie. I want people saying, 'No Ronnie don't do that!"
Samantha believes the new soap boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins is the brains behind her character's "dark" and "dangerous" personality.
She said: "I've started to feel Ronnie's energy and power coming back now Dom's in charge. I believe he's the best man for the job."
She added: "He wants to make it dark and gritty - which is what 'EastEnders' should be."
