Sam Faiers thinks she split with Joey Essex because of 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
The 23-year-old star split from her fiancé earlier this year after a rocky on/off three-year romance, and she believes they would still be together without the pressure of having their lives documented on the ITV2 reality show.
Speaking on ITV's 'This Morning', Sam said: "Three years ago we got together but it didn't work out, we were only young. We got back together, it was a whirlwind and Joey proposed. We were just constantly arguing about anything and everything.
"Being on the TV show you got to play out your whole life and relationship on the show and that is difficult. I look back at it now and think we genuinely did, and probably still do, love each other. We would have dealt with things differently.
"We always said if it wasn't for the pressure of being on the show, we would probably still be together now."
The blonde bombshell is stunned by the negative response she's had from Joey's fans after she was rumoured to be joining him in the jungle on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' to break up his blossoming flirtation with beauty queen Amy Willerton.
Sam said: "Everyone was saying, 'Sam's going in in a rage to break up the relationship!' I was like, where has this come from? The backlash was unbelievable on Twitter, [people saying], 'How dare you go in there?'
"Even if [producers invited me on the show], I wouldn't do it to Joey. This is his moment his time to shine in the jungle."
