Sam Faiers has been seeking help from two psychotherapists following her split with Joey Essex.
'The Only Way is Essex' star - who separated from her fiancé-turned-co-star on screen last month - has been struggling to come to terms with their bitter break-up and has been seeing medical professionals, Nik and Eva Speakman to help overcome her heartbreak.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Playing out her break-up with Joey on TV has really got to her.
"She decided she needed some help and had heard about the Speakmans through friends.
"They've been helping her work through a number of issues, a lot of which stem from her childhood.
The blonde beauty has previously admitted she suffers from an impulsive control disorder, which makes her repeatedly pull out her own eyelashes, but since undergoing counselling sessions, the condition has improved.
The source added: "Sam has had this horrible condition with her eyelashes since she was eight. But the Speakmans have helped and her lashes are growing again for the first time in years."
Sam stunned her fans when she addressed the disorder in her autobiography 'Living Life the Essex Way: Towie & Me' last year.
She wrote: "I suffer from trichotillomania, which means I pull my eyelashes out. That sounds weird, I know!
"Although not many people know it, I don't actually have any lashes at all.
"Sometimes little short ones will appear but I pull them out again before they have a chance to grow."
