Sally Dynevor wishes her on-screen daughters were back on 'Coronation Street'.
Brooke Vincent and Helen Flanagan, who play Sophie and Rosie Webster on the ITV soap, left the show in 2019 and 2018 respectively but Sally - who plays their on-screen mum - is keen for them to return.
She told OK! magazine: "We are all very close. When we were able to meet up we got together with the babies. I'm so proud of them, they are great mums. I miss them – I wish they were back in the show."
Meanwhile, Sally previously admitted she feels "so proud" of how many people's lives 'Coronation Street' has touched - and she wants to be part of the soap for another 60 years.
The cobbles legend said: "I'm so proud of 'Coronation Street'. It's just such an incredible programme to be part of. I was so happy to be involved in this domestic abuse storyline. It's so important. When I watch montages of years gone by and all the stories we've covered over the years, I'm just so proud of this programme. How many people's lives this has touched - it's incredible.
"The brilliant thing about 'Corrie' is that we play the tragedy stories, but we also play the comedy stories. I think that's why 'Coronation Street' has stayed where it is for the last 60 years, because the two go so well hand in hand. I think 'Corrie' does that better than any other programme. As long as we are writing the comedy and the tragedy and we have got our characters and our youth coming through it'll be on forever. Hopefully it'll last for another 60 years - and we'll all still be there."
