Sally Dynevor "keeps asking" 'Coronation Street' bosses to bring her on-screen sister Connie Hyde back.
The cobbles legend - who portrays Sally Metcalfe on the ITV soap - would love to reunite with the 51-year-old star, who portrayed Gina Seddon from 2017 to 2019, and looks back fondly on playing out the Underworld factory roof collapse stunt alongside her.
She said: "I loved the factory roof collapse, because I was working with Connie Hyde, who played Sally's sister, Gina.
"I keep asking them upstairs to bring her back."
The 62-year-old actress is also hoping her on-screen daughters, Helen Flanagan (Rosie Webster) and Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster), will make a return to Weatherfield "at some point", after both went on maternity leave.
Speaking about her character, she added to TV Times magazine: "Sally's not the perfect mother, but she does love Rosie and Sophie.
"Her parenting has been the source of a lot of comedy - like when Sophie said she was gay, and Sally thought, 'I'm trendy.'
"It's bonkers that Helen and Brooke now have children of their own.
"I really hope they come back into the show at some point."
But Sally may be left waiting for a while longer, as in August Brooke admitted she didn't have any plans for a 'Corrie' comeback "just yet".
In response to a fan who asked if she is returning to 'Corrie', she wrote on her Instagram Story: "Not just yet, I'm really enjoying being a mummy to Mexx and concentrating on @ohsobofficial but corrie is my home and I miss so many people there (sic)"
It came after Sally recently hinted Brooke and Helen could well return to 'Coronation Street' if her character re-marries Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine).
She said: "Every time I speak to Helen and Brooke I say, 'Have you told 'Corrie' you would like to come back yet?'
"If Sally and Tim do get married again I know both my girls would return for that. It would make both mine and Sally's day."
