Russell Howard's dog went missing yesterday (16.01.18).
The 37-year-old comedian got himself into a fluster on Tuesday afternoon after he lost his pet pooch Archie while taking him for a walk around Primrose Hill - near Camden - in North London and later took to his social networking sites to appeal for help.
Alongside a photograph of his four-legged friend - an adorable Jack Russell Terrier - he wrote: "My dog Archie has gone missing around the Camden/Primrose Hill area. If you see him tweet me and I'll get in contact. Please RT. (sic)"
Singer Cher was the first person to get in touch with Russell after the alert was put out but, rather than give him some information that could see him reunited with Archie, she simply apologised for his loss and accompanied it with a broken heart emoji.
However, it wasn't long before the funny man found Archie and admitted he was "very happy" to have the furry creature cuddled up snoozing on his sofa in the evening.
He took to his Twitter account an hour later to share a photo of Archie stretched out next to him replenishing his energy after his wild goose chase a few hours before.
He tweeted: "We found him. Thanks everyone!
"He's safe and well and sleeping. I'm very happy x (sic)"
