Russell T Davies is working on two more seasons of 'Doctor Who'.
The returning showrunner is already confirmed to be back with two series - set to air in 2024 and 2025 respectively - featuring incoming Time Lord Ncuti Gatwa, and there are more plans in the pipeline
He told SFX magazine: "I'm planning season three now, there's plans for season four. Absolutely.
"Who knows? Who knows. I'm not getting any younger."
Before Ncuti takes over the TARDIS, David Tennant will be back later this year for three anniversary specials with Catherine Tate by his side reprising her role as Donna Noble.
'Heartstopper actress Yasmin Finney is joining the cast as Donna's daughter Rose, while 'How I Met Your Mother' star Neil Patrick Harris will play the evil Toymaker.
The first of the three specials is set to air on November 25, with the others following on the next two Saturdays.
Meanwhile, the BBC announced this week that the franchise is expanding with a new show on the way, and the so-called Whoniverse is now the official home of all things 'Doctor Who' on the BBC iPlayer.
The broadcaster has also revealed the first piece of exclusive Whoniverse content, in the form of a brand-new six-part series called 'Tales of the TARDIS', which sees Doctors reunite with their beloved companions.
In a statement, showrunner Russell T. Davis said: "The word Whoniverse was invented by fans, so it’s time to give it official status.
"And 'Tales of the TARDIS' is one of the greatest delights of my career - to see old Doctors and companions reunited, still fighting the good fight, is a perfect way to celebrate the Doctor’s 60th birthday!”
