RuPaul says 'Drag Race UK' is running much "smoother" than the US version.
The 58-year-old drag queen admits the cast and crew on 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK' have been able to get "more done in a shorter amount of time" than the production team on the US version can, but he isn't sure why.
He said: "Don't tell the people back in the US, but it's running smoother in the UK.
"We're able to get more done in a shorter amount of time.
"I don't know why, but it really is."
Although one barrier for Ru has been language, as he has struggled to understand certain British words.
He said: "The lingo, it's taken me a while to understand certain things.
"I find myself asking, 'Well what does that mean?' But a lot of the time I get it from body rhythm.
"I was asking one of the contestants what a nav [navvy] is.
"I'm married to an Australian so I'm used to certain really odd lingo.
"But the English have a whole different set of them. I love it."
And while the star admits the show deals with some hard-hitting subjects, there is plenty of comedy because the drag queens have learned that "laughter is the best cure".
Speaking on 'Lorraine', Ru added: "We deal with a lot of heavy subjects, but because they're drag queens we're able to go back to the laughter.
"Because that's been a survival technique we've all used for years.
"A lot of us have pain, but we've learned that laughter is the best cure."
