Big Brother asked Roxanne Pallett if she'd like to speak to the police after she alleged Ryan Thomas punched her during a play fight.
The 35-year-old actress walked out of the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house this week following a dramatic few days in which she has been blasted for accusing housemate Ryan Thomas of "assault" after a play fight, and it has now been revealed producers of the Channel 5 reality show asked her if she'd wanted to press charges against Ryan - which she declined.
A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Roxanne sat down with producers on Friday and they discussed all the possible courses of action she could take.
"She was still adamant Ryan had hit her and that it was a really serious incident, despite what everyone has seen on camera.
"CBB takes its duty if care to the celebs incredibly seriously and they wanted to give her all the options.
"They asked her if she wanted to report the incident to the police. She asked what would happen if she did and they said her and Ryan might have to leave the house and they might both forfeit their fees.
"To be fair to her, she said she didn't want to go down that route. Then she left."
During the incident, Roxanne claimed 'Coronation Street' star Ryan "punched" her "like a boxer would punch a bag", in scenes which appeared to be a play fight.
She told Big Brother in the Diary Room: "A boy who's punched me repeatedly, unprovoked, completely deliberate. He actually punched me like a boxer would punch a bag. We weren't play fighting. There wasn't banter, it wasn't a joke, there was no exchange. I can't believe you're letting someone stay in that's done that, it's not on."
Roxanne's claims haven't gone without complaint though, as it was revealed a total of 11,215 complaints have been lodged with Ofcom.
The actress' interviewed on her exit during Monday's (03.09.18) episode of the show.
