Rowan Atkinson finds it "stressful and exhausting" playing Mr. Bean.

The 65-year-old actor and comedian insists she will never return to playing the famous character because the "weight of responsibility is not pleasant" but will continue to voice him for the animated version.
Speaking about his famous character, he said: "It’s easier for me to perform the character vocally than visually. I don’t much enjoy playing him. The weight of responsibility is not pleasant. I find it stressful and exhausting, and I look forward to the end of it."
However, Rowan did reveal he enjoyed making 'Blackadder' because he didn't feel all the "responsibility" for making the series as funny as it was.
He added: "I don’t actually like the process of making anything - with the possible exception of Blackadder. Because the responsibility for making that series funny was on many shoulders, not just mine.
But Rowan isn't sure whether the comedy series, which ended in 1989, could be recreated again for a new series as it "represented the creative energy" of the 1980s.
Speaking to the Radio Times, he shared: "Blackadder represented the creative energy we all had in the ’80s. To try to replicate that 30 years on wouldn’t be easy."
Meanwhile, Rowan previously revealed he doesn't consider himself to be a "proper actor".
Speaking in 2018 to promote his movie, 'Johnny English Strikes Again', which stars Emma Thompson as the UK Prime Minister, he explained: "She brought a lot to the movie. I think she's great. Actually, she's a weirdly convincing Prime Minister. You can absolutely see her in the job. Maybe she should be in the job. Who's to say? What's good about Emma is that she's what I call a proper actor, unlike me. I just fart about for a living, but she's the real deal. She's proper Oscar-winning performer."
