'Coronation Street's Rosie Webster is set to bring "a whole load of trouble" to her family's door when she returns in February.
The beautiful model - played by Helen Flanagan - fled the cobbles in 2012 to star in her own reality TV show in America but, despite convincing her relatives that she has been living the high life for the past four years, it seems she has some dark secrets that follow her back to Weatherfield when her sister Sophie (Brooke Vincent) drags her back home next year.
A spokesperson for the ITV soap told the Radio Times Online: "Sophie lands back on the cobbles and, along with her holiday souvenirs, she has also brought back a surprise visitor for (her parents) Sally and Kevin - big sister Rosie.
"On the surface it looks like Rosie has been living the high life in the States, but all is not what it seems as yet again Rosie brings a whole load of trouble to the Websters' door."
However, although Sophie is trying to do the right thing by bringing her sister back from the States to see her parents Sally (Sally Dynevor) and Kevin (Michael Le Vell), it seems the garage manager may come unstuck over the next few months as the trouble Rosie has got herself into will have a knock-on effect on her innocent sibling.
Show boss Kate Oates said: "Rosie is such a colourful character - I thought it'd be great for Sophie. I wanted to see Sophie led up the garden path a little bit and to see her in a bit of trouble. And I think that Rosie will cause Sophie a lot of headaches."
Helen - who left the show to focus on her health and has since had 17-month-old daughter Matilda with her partner Scott Sinclair - recently confirmed she was rejoining the long-running soap and couldn't wait to get stuck in to her comeback scenes.
She said last month: "I'm so excited to be returning to Coronation Street and being part of the Webster family again."
