'Celebrity Big Brother' star Ron Atkinson has come under fire for making a racist joke.
The former soccer manager received a stern warning from Big Brother after making an inflammatory comment as fellow housemate Danielle Marr draped a sweater over her head - akin to headscarves worn by Muslim women.
The 74-year-old contestant quipped: "You're not carrying a bomb with you, are you?"
Ron - who has managed the likes of Manchester United and Aston Villa - was taken into the Diary Room and cautioned by Big Brother for the offensive remark.
A show spokesperson said: "Ron made an unacceptable comment. He has received a formal warning."
The latest racial jibe comes after Ron was famously sacked from his job as a TV soccer pundit in 2004 when he made a flagrant remark towards a black soccer player.
Ron, who was under the impression his microphone was turned off, branded Chelsea star Marcel Desailly a "lazy, thick n***er" during a live soccer match.
The soccer expert - nicknamed Big Ron - is among the three celebrities who face eviction in the first public vote on this series of 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
Ron goes up against 'Loose Women' host Carol McGiffin and US babe Courtney Stodden in the live eviction episode on Wednesday (28.08.13).
