Roman Kemp is focusing on his work to get through the grief of his best friend's death.
The 27-year-old radio presenter returned to Capital Breakfast last week after taking some time off to come to terms with producer Joe Lyon's sudden passing, and now he is determined to "keep going".
He told The Sun newspaper: "I'm just trying to keep going."
He recently revealed the heartbreaking reasons the team - including co-hosts Sian Welby and Sonny Jay - took a break.
A tearful Roman told listeners: "I never thought I'd have to do this ever. Last Tuesday, very suddenly, we lost one of our best friends.
"Our producer Joe, he was a member of the Capital Breakfast family. He was not just part of the Capital Breakfast family but a loved member of the whole team."
The pair became close when Roman joined the radio station - where Joe was already a producer - in 2014, and Joe became his mentor.
Speaking on the show, he said: "He was the first person I met when I walked in the door, the very first person. I remember thinking, 'who's this guy?' This guy is a bit of a Del Boy!'
"He was with me right from my very first show, he taught me everything."
To honour his friend, Roman recently got an exact replica of Joe's tattoo of a dove on his leg.
Although he used to ridicule his friend for his ink, he thought it was the perfect tribute to his late pal.
He told fans: "Tattoos are great, they bring you a lovely memory. I always put meaningful tattoos in places that I see them a lot. I'm also a man that wears shorts all year round so I can look at it every day."
Sharing a picture of the design on his Instagram Stories, he wrote: "Joe had this tattoo and I always used to say it was awful and looked like a pigeon."
