Roman Kemp is to host the new series of 'Takeshi's Castle'
The 25-year-old presenter will be joined by one of his celebrity friends for each episode of the cult gameshow to provide commentary on the attempts of the challengers to overcome various obstacles and storm the castle.
Among those confirmed to be joining Roman on the show are his father, Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, and his 'Capital Breakfast' co-presenter Vick Hope.
Comedians London Hughes, Stephen Bailey and Lauren Pattison have also signed up, as have 'Made in Chelsea' star Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, former 'Love Island' hunk Chris Hughes and 'The Only Way is Essex' couple Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou.
The show returns to Comedy Central next month and network bosses think the changes will make for a better show than ever.
Louise Holmes, Vice President, General Manager, Comedy Central UK, said: "We're so excited to welcome Roman Kemp to the Comedy Central family as he takes the hosting reigns for a brand new series of 'Takeshi's Castle'. We're really mixing things up this series by having celebrity commentators visible in the corner of the screen and Roman's cheeky, energetic humour fits perfectly with the crazy antics of 'Takeshi's Castle'."
In addition to the new series, producers have also created seven specially-themed compilation episodes, which will air on the Nicktoons channel.
Roman will be adding his own commentary to the highlights episodes, which will include ultimate fails, amazing contestants, favourite funnies and biggest baddies.
'Takeshi's Castle, Indonesia' starts on 22 November at 8pm on Comedy Central UK, while the compilation episodes will also hit screens next month.
