Rolf Harris has been axed from 'Animal Clinic'.
The 83-year-old TV presenter, who was arrested for a second time on Monday (05.08.13) and questioned by detectives from Operation Yewtree - the national investigation launched in the wake of the Jimmy Savile scandal - has been replaced by Ben Fogle as the host of the show.
Channel 5 commissioning editor Ian Dunkley said: "We are delighted to have Ben on board. His background and love of animals make him the natural choice."
The programme was pulled in April after Rolf's first arrest in March over allegations of historical sexual abuse.
The channel said at the time: "While this legal matter involving Rolf Harris is on-going we have removed his shows from the Channel 5 schedule."
Rolf was questioned over fresh sex abuse allegations earlier this week, but the broadcaster insists he was never contracted to host the show's second series.
A Channel 5 spokesman told The Sun newspaper: "Ben Fogle will present the next series of 'Animal Clinic'. No other presenter was ever contracted to do the second series."
Rolf was released on bail following his arrest on Monday, and while he wasn't directly named, a spokesman said: "He has returned on bail today, where he was further arrested on suspicion of sexual offences in connection with further allegations made to Operation Yewtree.
"He has been re-bailed to a date later in August."
