Though Ronnie (Robbie Amell) seemed to die in the debut episode of The Flash season 2 this year, Robbie is teasing that he and his character may be returning to the show at some point in the future.
Posting to his Instagram account, he published a picture of himself next to Franz Drameh, the actor who's making his debut as Jefferson 'Jax' Jackson in episode 4 of the new season.
He captions the image: "Firestorm is in great hands. But I'll be back." So will we see Ronnie in an alternate timeline, or perhaps on Earth-2? It's possible, especially seeing as how we've been reintroduced to Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).
The CW have released a synopsis for episode 4 of season 2, titled 'The Fury of Firestorm'.
It reads: "Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team look for another Firestorm match for Dr. Stein (Victor Garber). When the team meets Jefferson 'Jax' Jackson (Franz Drameh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) has her reservations about whether Jax is the right match for Dr. Stein. Iris (Candice Patton) surprises Joe (Jesse L. Martin) while Barry and Patty (Shantel VanSanten) grow closer."
The Flash continues Tuesdays on The CW at 8/7c in the US, and Tuesdays at 8pm on Sky1 in the UK.
