When it comes to the world of TV, there's more to watch than ever before. Streaming platform Apple TV+ are continuously adding to the slate of stuff we want to binge, and their upcoming anthology show Roar is another on our radar.

Ahead of its debut in April 2022, the streamer has dropped the trailer, which offers a glimpse at the star-studded cast and, some of what we can expect when it premieres.

You can check out the teaser below:

Whether it's the story of 'the woman who ate her photographs', the narrative behind 'the woman who solved her own murder' or, one of the other compelling tales that are set to be told in Roar, it appears as though there's going to be something for everybody.

Roar promises to be a darkly comic anthology, full of feminist fables and spanning an array of different genres, from psychological horror to magical realism. With eight stand-alone stories, which also include a woman who dates ducks, and another who lives on shelves like a trophy, audiences may feel as though it's not exactly a relatable series, but will soon discover that the problems they face are universal.

Some incredible names are a part of the production, including Nicole Kidman, who also executive produces, alongside Cynthia Erivo, Issa Rae, Merritt Wever, Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Fivel Stewart and Kara Hayward.

Fans of Netflix original series GLOW will be excited to hear that the creators and co-showrunners of Roar are the same witty minds behind that show: Carly Mensch and Liz Flahive.

Seeing Carly Mensch and Liz Flahive work together again brought a huge smile to my face. I was a massive supporter of GLOW on Netflix, and was devastated to see the axe fall on such an original show that celebrated women.

Fortunately, it looks like the duo are going to do the same again; albeit in a very different way, with Roar.

With eight episodes to digest and the promise of completely separate stories, I'm sure there's going to be a lot to take in. If anybody could nail this sort of format however, it's Mensch and Flahive. Plus, just look at that cast. Talk about stacked!

Roar will debut on Apple TV+ with all eight episodes on April 15th, 2022.
