Ricky Wilson has been signed with XFM radio.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman and coach on 'The Voice' has reportedly been given hosting duties for his own show on the radio station, following in the footsteps of Chris Moyles.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It's been something that Ricky has been discussing with his team and XFM for some time.
"He's had a series of meetings with Global, which owns XFM, and has come to an agreement that suits all involved."
His new radio show will see him have to balance his commitments with the BBC as he continues his position as a coach on the show alongside will.i.am and new recruits Boy George and Paloma Faith.
However, things haven't got off to a great start for the BBC show after former coach Sir Tom Jones claimed he wasn't told he wouldn't be returning to the panel.
In a Facebook post, he wrote: "In good faith, as part of the team, I'd put the time in my schedule to be involved in Series 5, as I've done so for the last 4 years. I've supported the show and the BBC since the beginning. I was told yesterday, with no consultation or conversation of any kind, that I would not be returning. Having been through plenty of transformations throughout the years, I support and admire creative change. But being informed, as a matter of duty and respect, is an important part of creative relationships.
