The former world champion fighter, 45, who became the first star to leave the ITV skating contest on Sunday (21.01.24) night, said the match would only be an “exhibition” fight and not a professional return to the ring.
He told the Daily Star: “I’d box again for an exhibition. If something like that came up, I’d look at doing it. There are a lot of exhibitions being done now and I’m all for it.
“I’d do one where there’s an understanding and where it’s a competitive spar where no liberties are being taken.
“I’d do something where I could showcase my skills one last time without anyone getting hurt.”
Ricky – mocked as ‘Ricky Fatton’ during his fighting days due to his yo-yo’ing weight in between fights – also said he is now in top condition again after getting rid of weight while on ‘Dancing on Ice’.
He added: “I lost some weight and I'm keeping it off. From a fitness point of view, I’m in pretty decent nick.
“If I go back to Ricky Fatton again, I might not get the weight off. I don’t want that to happen.
“Just because you retire, doesn’t mean you stop setting goals.”
The second live show on Sunday of the new ‘Dancing on Ice’ saw the remaining six celebrities take to the ice with their first routines.
Ricky found himself in a skate off against comedian Lou Sanders, 48, with the ex-boxer dancing to ‘If I Can Dream’ by Elvis Presley and the stand-up performing again to ‘Try’ by Pink.
The former fighter said after getting the boot following the skate off: “I’m gutted to be going home.
“I’ve tried to be a winner all my life in everything I’ve done. It’s been a while since I saw the second round.
“I’ve had a great time, I’ve met some wonderful friends.
“I’d like to thank Robin for all her hard work, the coaches for all their hard work.”
