Star of 'The Office' David Brent, played by Ricky Gervais is to play at Wembley.
After being approached by Nick Adair, programming manager at the London arena, the 52-year-old comedian has decided he is going to perform as part of his 'The Office' character's band Forgone Conclusion.
Ricky told The Sun newspaper: "It's amazing and hilarious. Having Wembley on the phone to talk about live gigs is far beyond what Brent could ever have imagined.
"I've played Wembley many times as a stand-up and it really is the greatest venue in the world.
"It will be perfect for Brent too, as it's not too far from Slough."
The 'Derek' star confirmed his alter-ego, who is known for his cringe-worthy sing-alongs, such as 'Free Love Highway', will be taking to the stage at a London venue next month.
He wrote on Twitter: "David Brent is going to do a couple of very cheap, very low key warm up gigs with Forgone Conclusion in London this October. Stay tuned."
Ricky was also recently said to be planning a film about Brent's struggle to break into the music industry following the success of his character's YouTube series 'Learn Guitar With David Brent'.
