Former 'Gogglebox' star Rev Kate Bottley wants to do 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 43-year-old reality TV star has admitted, although she's not been approached by bosses just yet, she'd jump at the chance to take part in the ballroom and latin show as she's convinced the viewers will love seeing her backside in sequins.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: "I've not been asked. But I am sure the nation is ready to see my backside in sequins. I mean, they did watch Rev Richard Coles - and he's a trailblazer. Watch this space."
Kate quit 'Gogglebox' in 2016 but she certainly hasn't been short of work as she has gone on to present 'Songs of Praise', took part in last year's 'Celebrity MasterChef' and made a guest appearance on 'The Hairy Bikers Home for Christmas show.'
But the reverend - who is a mother of two - will need to fight off some stiff competition if she's to make it onto this year's line up as it's believed bosses are desperate to secure grime artist Stormzy's girlfriend Maya Jama and presenter Anneka Rice.
A source said recently: "Bookers are very keen to get Anneka and know she would be a huge signing. After Debbie McGee's popularity last year there is a sense the more mature lady does well and resonates with older viewers.
"They're in talks and hoping that she finally says yes."
Union J's Josh Cuthbert and football pundit Chris Kamara are also in talks about taking part in the new series, but no contracts have been signed as of yet.
There will also be a huge shake-up amongst the professionals and Brendan Cole - who has appeared on the show since it began in 2004 - was axed earlier this year.
The judging panel - including Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Darcey Bussell and Craig Revel Horwood - is expected to stay the same.
