Rebecca Ferguson wants to be an 'X Factor' judge.
The 30-year-old singer - who shot to fame when she came second behind Matt Cardle in the 2010 series of the talent contest - thinks she'd be a "strict" mentor and would want to get the best out of her contestants.
Asked if she'd like to be a judge on the show, she said: "Yeah, but I think I'd be quite strict I think I'd be cracking the whip backstage, saying, 'Do your high Cs'."
However, Rebecca thinks having Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger on the panel this year has been brilliant.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I really liked it, it's a bit of banter and it's been good."
The 'Nothing's Real But Love' singer is very pleased that 2012 'X Factor' winner James Arthur has seen a surge in popularity this year following a stint in the pop wilderness as a result of his controversial behaviour.
She said: "I think it's amazing, you know, people make mistakes and they bounce back, so good on him."
But being on 'The X Factor' would mean Rebecca would have to spend more time in the UK, having previously admitted she'd like to live in France permanently.
She said: "I'm in Paris at the minute but because I've got the tour coming up, I'm probably going to have to move back [to the UK], which is really annoying.
"I want to stay in Paris but it depends how this album goes. I'm really busy in the UK. "
And Rebecca - who has kids Lillie, 11, and Karl, 10 from a previous relationship with Karl Dures and a third child, two-year-old Arabella with another ex-boyfriend - is already getting to know the locals.
She added: "I was messaging people in the label saying I just want to do little jazz bars in Paris. I've made a few mates, the cheeseman, the baker."
