The former Olympic swimmer had to undergo surgery after she dislocated her shoulder when she competed on the show and has described the pain as "worse than childbirth".
She shared: "When I started training for the air jump, I had a fall early on, hurting my shoulder so it was a bit sore. But I carried on and my jumps seemed better.
"But on the day of filming, after a successful practice run, I somehow swung my arm as I sailed through the air and dislocated it. I then damaged it on impact. The medics tried to fix it there and then, but couldn't.
"It still gives me goose bumps thinking about how horrible a procedure it was to have the shoulder put back into place ... it was excruciatingly painful."
The 27-year-old athlete - who has eight-month-old daughter Summer with husband Harry Needs - is now looking forward to returning to the show for the final.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Since the op, I've had to ice my shoulder daily. I can't drive at the moment but I can still walk our two dogs, Millie and Daisy. I am doing a bit of work now, although I will also be having physiotherapy and acupuncture to get me through the healing process as quickly as possible. It will take six weeks of physio before I am fit.
"This Sunday, I'm going back to the set of The Jump for the final - I will have to miss my first Mother's Day as a mum but Harry will be sending me pictures and videos of Summer. I can't wait to see everyone. I've spoken to everyone pretty much every day and met up with Louisa Lytton since coming back."
