Evicted 'Big Brother' star Kerry "struggled" so much with a lack of sleep in the house she lost some vision in her eye.

Big Brother's Kerry lost vision in left eye due to lack of sleep on show
The 40-year-old NHS manager, who has multiple sclerosis (MS) - which can affect vision, arm or leg movement, and sensation or balance - has admitted she "massively underestimated" how much sleep she might get in the house, in which everyone shares the same bedroom.
During the series, some of the younger contestants have been disruptive into the early hours when others are trying to sleep, and one night Kerry was covered in lettuce while trying to get some shut-eye.
Kerry, who uses a mobility scooter and a stick to help cope with the condition, told the Daily Mirror newspaper's Diary column: "I went to the Diary Room one lunchtime because I lost a bit of vision in my left eye - a bit of blurred vision.
"It was one of my first symptoms when I got diagnosed with MS.
"I really struggled. I could hear my MS nurse saying, ‘Listen to your body and rest when you need to.’
"I massively underestimated the sleep part of it. Massively."
But Kerry insisted she didn't request any special treatment, because she didn't want to be labelled the "disabled one" by anyone.
She added: "I didn’t want to be treated differently. I wanted that authentic experience.
"I didn’t want to be ‘the disabled one’ that couldn’t get involved.”
Kerry was evicted on Tuesday night (31.10.23) after Noky and Trish were tasked with secretly nominating three housemates to be put up for a surprise eviction as part of a Halloween twist.
