Rachel Riley has vowed to continue speaking out against trolls.

The 'Countdown' presenter wants to be a "role model" for others by standing up to those who hurl abuse at her on social media, and she has already blocked 1,500 users on Twitter.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "They were so abusive. I’ve developed a thick skin but now I never see a lot of things, even nice stuff, which is a shame because I used to use Twitter to help children with maths homework."
Her comments come after Rachel, 35, previously revealed that the vicious trolling she received after her criticism of the Labour party - including her backing of a BBC Panorama documentary which questioned whether Labour is anti-Semetic - left her so upset that her 15-month-old daughter stopped wriggling around when she was pregnant with her.
She recalled: "Their followers took it personally and attacked anyone going anywhere near.
"I was very stressed and upset and my baby stopped wriggling for a couple of days. At that point you think, 'Nah'. "I realised that however mentally strong I am, there's adrenaline, there's hormones that go through your body and now I'm sharing them, I absolutely don't need to give that to my baby."
She later welcomed Maven with her husband Siberian-born ex-'Strictly' star Pasha Kovalev, 41, in 2019 but Rachel is still worried about her child growing up in a media-dominated world.
The Jewish star explained: "Especially with her being Jewish, you worry about what generations have been through before. You don’t know what will happen. Do we keep our heads down? Or do we fight?"
However, it is not the first time the mathematician received hateful comments on her family as trolls lashed out on social media after sharing a picture of her family on her one year wedding anniversary.
She added: "I needed to find my self-esteem from something within me, rather than from people telling me I’m wearing a nice dress."
