Nicola Roberts is to return to 'The Masked Singer' as a guest panellist for the final.
The former Girls Aloud star was the 2020 winner of the first series of the UK version of the ITV reality singing show last year, when she was unmasked as Queen Bee.
And, according to the Daily Star newspaper's Hot TV column, the 35-year-old singer is poised to return to the show on the panel alongside Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall.
An insider told the tabloid: "Producers thought it would be really fun to have Nicola back on the show. She was thrilled to be asked and jumped at the chance to return.
"Nicola knows what it’s like to perform inside one of the costumes and try to keep the panel guessing.
"And she knows better than anyone what the contestants are thinking. Producers were hoping that would mean she could approach the game from a different angle and come up with some good guesses."
It comes after Alan Carr was a guest panellist last weekend and Matt Lucas is set to be the special guest during this Saturday's (06.02.21) semi-final.
Sausage, Harlequin, Robin, Dragon and Badger are set to compete this weekend.
The stars unmasked this series so far include Sir Lenny Henry and Mortem Harket as Blob and Viking, respectively, John Thomson was unveiled as Bush Baby, whilst Seahorse was revealed to be Mel B. Glenn Hoddle was the Grandfather Clock and Martine McCutcheon was unmasked as Swan. Sophie Ellis-Bextor was booted out of the competition first, leaving her Alien alias to be revealed.
‘The Masked Singer’ continues on Saturday (06.02.21) from 7pm on ITV.
