AJ Pritchard has agreed to take part in the new series of 'Celebrity MasterChef'.
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional may have impressed fans with his swivel hips and fancy footwork on the ballroom and latin show, but he's keen to prove he's also a dab hand in the kitchen as he's set to go head-to-head with some familiar faces to be crowned the champion of the cooking competition, according to The Sun newspaper.
The 23-year-old hunk will go up against former 'Made in Chelsea' hunk Spencer Matthews, Holby City's Chizzy Akudolu, Union J's Josh Cuthbert and Frankie Bridge so he'll need to prove he can stay calm and collected when the heat starts to rise.
AJ shot into the limelight in 2016 when he joined 'Strictly Come Dancing' as a new professional and was partnered up with Olympic gymnast Claudia Fragapane.
But it wasn't until he returned the following year in 2017 and was paired with The Saturdays singer Mollie King that he started to win over the hearts of the nation.
The couple's steamy routines and undeniable chemistry became the hot topic of conversation but AJ is adamant their relationship was purely platonic throughout.
He said recently: "We're just great friends for life. That's all it was and that's what it will always be ... It was fantastic that all of the fans got behind us so much on the show and supported us. You never know what could happen in the future. If we crossed paths again for work then that would be fantastic."
And, although he's very focused on his work at the moment, AJ won't turn away love if it happens to come his way but he wants to make sure his career doesn't suffer.
He explained: "I am single, but very much focused on my career and making sure I'm always improving. I'm very young, so for me, it's all about trying to learn new skills and keep myself focused. If something happens then something happens but I try not to forced things or make them happen. I just let them happen."
