Former 'Strictly Come Dancing' dancer AJ Pritchard has claimed ex-'Love Island' star Arabella Chi cost him £50,000 on new game show 'The Challenge'.
The 28-year-old professional dancer was partnered up with Arabella in the new Channel 5 series - which is hosted by Mark Wright, and sees celebrities take on extreme physical tests - but he insists she was the reason he didn't win a share of the £100,000 prize pot.
Speaking about Arabella - who appeared on the ITV2 dating show alongside AJ's brother Curtis Pritchard in 2019 - AJ said: "We did not make the final three.
"If myself and Arabella made the final three, I'd have put my life on it that I would've won that show.
"But it seems as though it was Arabella that got Curtis knocked out and it was Arabella again that got me knocked out the final and lost me £50,000."
AJ says he won't be able to forget about losing out on a possible five-figure sum for the rest of his days.
He added to The Sun newspaper: "I'm just going to throw it out there.
"That's a touchy subject and it's going to be touchy and a bit raw for the rest of my life!"
Asked if he'd like to meet Arabella away from the show, he said: "No! Unless she's got £50,000 to hand over. She cost me the win."
Mark recently admitted he was "really nervous" to host the game show, which was filmed in Argentina last year.
He said: "It was a big deal for me being the host of a show starring 16 reality stars or celebs.
"It’s proof that all the hard work, from hosting children’s shows to moving to America and putting in the ground work, is paying off.
"I was really nervous to walk out and see what their response was, especially when they have all come from the same place I did - reality TV."
