Amazon Prime Video have announced this week that critically-acclaimed supernatural show and comic book adaptation Preacher will be returning for its second season on the streaming service this June, with the first episode launching on Tuesday, June 20. New episodes will follow weekly up to a total of 13 in the expanded second season.

Six first look pictures have also been revealed for the new season, which you can see in the gallery below. Following West Texan preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) along with his ass-kicking ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Irish vampire Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), the show will see the trio and those around them on a road trip to find God, before they’re thrust into one of the biggest and most chaotic battles they could imagine; a fight spanning Heaven, Hell and everything in between.
Ian Coletti and Graham McTavish also return, with new additions Noah Taylor, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett, Justin Prentice and Ronald Guttman.
