Piers Morgan would love to become the next big action star and follow in the footsteps of Liam Neeson.
The 'Good Morning Britain' presenter admitted he would be delighted to appear on the big screen in a blockbuster like Neeson's 'Taken' or Bruce Willis' 1988 movie 'Die Hard', and he thinks he has the chops to pull it off.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "A movie? Bring it on. I'd be like Liam Neeson in 'Taken'. I can see it now."
'Taken' saw the actor as a former CIA agent left fighting across Europe to save his daughter after she was kidnapped.
It comes just days after Piers, 52, revealed he would love to join 'Coronation Street' as Michelle Connor's "secret love interest".
presenter got to speak with Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle on the ITV soap, as the actress gave 'Good Morning Britain' viewers a sneak peak of the show's new Victoria Street set with roving reporter Richard Arnold on Monday morning (12.03.18).
As Kym, 41, was showing off new 'Corrie' eatery Street Daal, which serves "authentic Pakistani street food", she also spoke about the cast's excitement to have a new tram station, a tattoo parlour and police station on the expanded set.
But Piers broke away from her chat to pitch his plan to join the series as a lover for Michelle.
He cheekily said: "Hang on, hang on. While you've got Ms Marsh - is there any movement on getting me as your secret love interest? My agent has heard nothing."
Kym then replied with a smile: "I'll meet you in the garden."
Which prompted Piers to suggest: "How about the Daal for something a bit hot and spicy? Or I'll meet you at the end of the cobbles with some scraps and gravy."
