Piers Morgan's US show was axed, and so his focus will now be on his Life Stories UK show.
The 48-year-old journalist, whose CNN show 'Piers Morgan Live' was cancelled amid low ratings yesterday, is set to hammer out a new contract with ITV to continue fronting his British show.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper before CNN announced the end of his US show, Piers said: "I haven't signed up for more 'Life Stories' yet but I am sitting down with ITV in the next few months. My contract runs out in June but I have done all the shows under that existing contract.
"We will sit down and talk about the future. But I want to do more. I have got plenty of offers to do stuff but I have a good relationship with ITV and we are both keen to keep it going.
"As long as they are popular and people like watching them, we will keep doing them."
The former 'Britain's Got Talent' judge also says he hasn't ruled out a reunion with his former co-stars Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden on the talent show's judging panel.
He added: "I would never say never about going back to 'BGT'. I did ten series of 'BGT' and 'America's Got Talent', and that is a lot of judging. I did run out of things to say but I would like to work with Simon again."
