Phillip Schofield is concerned he might not be able to co-host 'Dancing on Ice' on Sunday after he tested positive for coronavirus.
The 'This Morning' presenter admitted he is "cutting it a bit fine" to be free of COVID for Sunday's (06.02.22) fourth episode in the current series, after revealing late last night (31.01.22) that he had tested positive.
Speaking on the brunchtime show via video link from his house, he said: "There are a number of things I'm disappointed about. Obviously, I'm disappointed I'm not there.
"We're a little bit worried about 'Dancing On Ice', because I'm cutting it a bit fine for that on Sunday.
"I'm going to miss Gok's dumplings, which I'm gutted about."
But Phil admitted he is feeling OK and doesn't even have a sore throat anymore.
He said: "I'm fine. I haven't even got a sore throat now. I sneezed twice, and that's it.
"I've got a slight temperature, but that's about it."
Phil has been co-hosting the show alongside Rochelle Humes over the last few weeks as Holly Willoughby has been filming a new BBC show with Lee Mack, 'Superstar Survival'.
On today's 'This Morning', The Saturdays singer was joined by Alison Hammond - who co-hosts the show on Fridays with Dermot O'Leary - and Rochelle joked she just thought Phil didn't want to work with her anymore.
She quipped: "I thought he just didn't like me anymore."
Alison joked: "Do you think he just had a glass of orange juice to make it go positive? 'I've had enough.' I'm only joking."
Phil took to his Instagram Stories last night to reveal he had tested positive for COVID.
He wrote: "Well b*******!! (sic)"
And the star admitted he was only suffering from a "slightly sore throat".
