Peter Kay will be starring in a new sitcom.
The actor's signed up to play a part in Cradle To Grave, a series that has been dubbed the new Only Fools and Horses.
He'll play Danny Baker's father in the eight-part BBC Two comedy series, which is based on the broadcaster's memories of growing up in a south London council flat in the 70s.
The Daily Mirror was told by a source that Peter's character is that of a "real-life Del Boy".
Based on Baker's autobiopgrahy Going To Sea In A Sieve', Baker wrote: "When 'Only Fools and Horses' arrived on TV, most people I knew though it was a documentary."
Peter will also make a TV comeback on BBC One comedy Car Share, with Phoenix Nights also coming back next year for a Comic Relief special.
