Peter Crouch will sign the dotted line and appear on 'Strictly Come Dancing' when he retires from football.
Abbey Clancy - Crouch's wife and current star on the BBC show - has insisted he's keen to compete on the ballroom competition.
Speaking on tonight's (04.10.13) episode of 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man', she says: "He loves it. He wants to do it himself but he can't at the moment because he is playing football."
The 27-year-old stunner wowed the judges with her first 'Strictly' performance last weekend, scoring 32 points out of a possible 40, and admits Stoke star Crouch - who has also starred for England, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur throughout his career - burst into tears watching her dance.
She adds: "He said he was crying as he was so moved. He was watching it with our daughter Sophia, and she was like, 'Mummy is like a princess.' "
Abbey, who is partnered by professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec on the show, insists she was expecting last weekend's performance to be a flop because she had messed up her rehearsals earlier in the day.
She explains: "I had three rehearsals on the day and I cocked all of them up. But on the night it was like a dream.
"It was supposed to be Romeo and Juliet. I did struggle with my acting but it is not hard to try and look in love with Aljaz, is it?"
