Peter Crouch and Sir Andy Murray will face off the ultimate sporting challenge for 'BBC Children In Need'.
The retired footballer and tennis legend are set to take part in a unique match-up as they each try to take home the Pudsey Cup.
The tongue-in-cheek sketch sees Crouch return to his roots after he chose football over tennis as a youngster, and Murray has accepted the challenge to test his skills.
The pair will face off at LTA's National Tennis Centre, but in a special twist the duo will actually compete in a game of Padel.
The contest - which has become one of Europe's fasting growing grassroot sports - is a form of tennis which is sociable and easy to play.
Peter said: "I’ve finally had the chance to fulfil my dreams of being a tennis star with the help of 'BBC Children in Need'!
"I’m so glad I could be a part of something that helps so many children across the UK.”
Meanwhile, Murray suggested his opponent pulled out all the stops in an attempt to gain an advantage, but refused to reveal whether he did enough to win the trophy.
He added: "Crouchy challenged me a while back to a game of tennis, apparently he used to be quite good. I’m not quite sure he was prepared for Padel though.
"He tried every trick in the book to try and win, you’ll have to watch BBC Children in Need’s 2020 Appeal Night on Friday to find out how he got on.”
Viewers can tune in to see the beginnings of the world’s fiercest new sporting rivalry as part of BBC Children in Need’s 2020 Appeal Night on BBC One from 7pm on Friday (13.11.20).
