Peter Capaldi felt "weepy" when Jenna Coleman filmed her final scenes for 'Doctor Who'.
The 57-year-old actor, who plays the titular Time Lord in the BBC One series, confessed he became uncharacteristically emotional and cried during his final moments on set with his friend.
He shared: "She's great fun and wonderful to work with. I've had a great time with her. I don't usually get weepy when I'm working but I found it really sad to say goodbye to her."
And while her final story-line is firmly under wraps, Peter revealed Jenna's last performance as Clara Oswald was captivating.
He said: "She's fabulous in the scene. I don't want to go into what. It's very clever what happens in it, but it's very sad. It's really sad."
The brunette beauty is now set to portray Queen Victoria in a new 8-part ITV drama and Peter's admitted he'll be missing his old sidekick.
Speaking on 'The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw' on BBC Radio 1, he added: "I still see her, so it's not like saying goodbye to Jenna in person, but you say goodbye to the character, and it becomes the focus of your emotion and perhaps all of the things you'd like to say to that person, like how wonderful she's been to me."
