Peter Andre has stated he was "terrible" at DIY before working on '60 Minute Makeover'.
The 40-year-old reality TV star is hosting 30 episodes of the home-renovation show and has admitted DIY isn't his strong point, though he did enjoy the experience of improving people's houses and seeing the transformations take place.
He said: "I've gone from terrible to bad. I've been putting shelves up but they're bodge jobs!"
Peter also admitted he struggled with lifting heavy items on the show.
He said: "We had a guy called Removals Rob who lifts things like pool tables and pianos like they're nothing. So when they asked me to lift things, I was like, 'Of course I can.'
"But they were so heavy I don't know how I didn't break my back."
Due to the show's demands, Peter has been following a new fitness regime to try to keep in shape for his stint on '60 Minute Makeover.'
The 'Mysterious Girl' singer added to new! magazine: "There's this new intensive workout craze called Insanity. I'm doing that along with my other training."
