The ghost of a dog has been haunting a 'Peaky Blinders' set.

Crew members working on the BBC One gangster drama are said to have heard howling from a four-legged phantom in the corridors of Arley Hall in Cheshire, which is used for Cillian Murphy's character Tommy Shelby's lavish home.
A set source said: "There’s a certain irony that made a lot of people smile that these gangsters who brandish guns and kill people could be spooked by a little dog.
"A few of the crew think they have heard some howling from the old corridors. It’s especially creepy, as a few of the shoots are at night.
"The set is where Cillian’s character Tommy Shelby lives. Cillian has had to be channelling Tommy even more so as not to show he’s a scaredy cat."
The former owner of the building is said to have been killed by his murderer mutt, who was then shot dead by the gamekeeper.
As a result, the spooky pooch now attacks anyone with a beard or wearing similar attire to the gamekeeper - which the Shelby gangsters do.
The source added to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "It’s funny because the Shelby men wear nice suits just like the gamekeeper."
This comes after another 'Peaky Blinders' set, The Black Country Living Museum in Dudley, West Midlands, was converted into a coronavirus vaccination centre.
Councillor Nicolas Barlow, cabinet member for health and adult social care at Dudley Council, recently said: "This is a real game changer in our fight across the borough against the coronavirus.
"Having the Black Country Living Museum on board as a vaccination centre will greatly increase the amount of jabs we can deliver, and the speed at which we can administer them.
"It will make people safer from this deadly virus more quickly."
The museum is closed to tourists amid the latest coronavirus lockdown, and thousands of vaccines are expected to be given out at the site in the coming weeks.
'Peaky Blinders' sees Cillian play Tommy, the leader of the notorious Shelby family who have risen to prominence and power in post-First World War Birmingham during the first five series, but they have picked up many enemies along the way.
The BBC recently confirmed the show will end after the forthcoming sixth series.
