Paul O'Grady says it's "too early" for him to write a book about Cilla Black.
The 60-year-old comedian previously revealed that if he writes another memoir he will "intertwine" it with stories about his close friendship with the late 'Blind Date' host - who passed away in August after suffering a fall - but he's now confessed he thinks it's too soon.
Asked if it's true he's planning to write a book about Cilla, he said': "I haven't been asked, and people think I am and I'm not. I think they just assume that when she passed away that I'd sit down and write a book. But it's too early."
The chat show host also revealed he was recently outraged when somebody asked whether the 'Anybody Who Had A Heart' singer had left him anything in her will.
Paul told ITV's 'This Morning': "I was asked, 'So what has she left you in her will?' And I thought, 'How rude', I've got the memories thank you."
Meanwhile, the 'For the Love of Dogs' presenter previously admitted he would ask Cilla's sons Robert, Ben and Jack for their permission if he ever did plan to write a book about her.
He said: "Well, they know with me, she'd be safe. They'd rather me do it than anyone else. It would just be about two people having fun and what we got up to.
"I've got a great memory for conversations and situations. People say my memory's scary. There's loads of material. I would never be disrespectful to her."
