Paul Hollywood thinks Taylor Swift could appear on 'The Great British Bake Off: Stand Up To Cancer' special' following Blake Lively’s interest in taking part in the show.
The 58-year-old TV baker has appeared on 'The Great British Bake Off' spin-off since 2018, and has welcomed plenty of star-studded guests into the tent over the years.
Paul has now revealed 'Shake It Off' singer Taylor, 34, could join the show for a "Hollywood edition" with her 36-year-old actress friend Blake.
He told Best magazine: "Blake really wants to do it. I mean, she really, really wants to do it and I think she was talking about getting in a couple of friends, and she mentioned Taylor Swift.
"I was like, 'Listen, if you can get those guys into the tent, get them into the tent'. 'Bake Off: The Hollywood Edition'."
Paul added having Taylor and Blake in the tent wouldn’t be the first time the Channel 4 programme has had interest from movie stars, as Marvel actors Ryan Reynolds, 47, and Hugh Jackman, 55, had once visited the set dressed as their superhero characters.
He said: "Ryan Reynolds walked into the tent fully dressed as Deadpool. We had a good laugh together.
"Wolverine was there as well, so we had Hugh Jackman."
'The Great British Bake Off: Stand Up To Cancer' is currently back on screens, and sees stars such as 50-year-old Leigh Francis, comedian Rhod Gilbert, 55, 42-year-old singer Paloma Faith and 'Doctor Who' actress Jodie Whittaker, 41, take to the tent to show off their culinary skills.
Reflecting on the special, Paul said he was "happy" to see what tasty treats the stars could create.
He said: "I was happy to see Leigh as I’ve met him a few times. And Rhod Gilbert, who has been through the mill with cancer, was a giggle.
"I’ve met Paloma Faith before ad she was so sweet and loved to get stuck in.
"And of course, it’s fantastic to meet the Doctor – I mean Jodie Whittaker, she’s such a lovely woman."
