Paul Hollywood has been working as a pizza chef at his girlfriend’s pub.
'The Great British Bake Off’ judge has been working his signature bread magic at his partner, Melissa Spalding’s boozer in Smarden in Kent.
The 55-year-old television personality took to manning the rustic pizza oven at the Chequers Inn - which is owned by the 37-year-old landlady’s parents - making ‘Paul’s Pizza’, a £13 dough delight with tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto, Parmesan and cream.
Paul's cooking was advertised on the Chequers Inn Facebook page in a post which stated: “Delicious authentic Italian pizzas cooked fresh to order!!
“Our chefs for the night will be Scott Spalding and Paul Hollywood.”
A source added to The Sun newspaper: "Pubs are doing all they can to get punters’ bums on seats.
“While most landladies might have to shell out for a star chef, Melissa can just call her boyfriend. She and her parents hope he will get some business through the door.”
Paul and Melissa made their public debut as a couple at the recent premiere for Matthew Vaughn's new action film ‘The King’s Man’.
He will next be on our screens for the festive edition of the 'The Great British Bake Off', which will feature the 'It's A Sin' cast showing off their cake-making skills.
