The former 'EastEnders' star has also insisted her 2007 book 'All of Me' doesn't describe herself as "addict to wellness guru after the phrase appeared on the ticker during her interview with the ITV programme's hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard on Wednesday (17.03.21).

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Everyone stop arguing on here I can clear up your arguments. You have five mins to talk about exactly what they promise to talk about.

"If you have to start explaining yourself about something that shouldn’t be on there in the first place the interview is over! That’s one point cleared up.

"Second there’s no quote in any book that ever said 'addict to wellness guru' anywhere ever - that’s that point cleared up.

"Third I wasn’t on there to promote a book about anything. As human beings that are supposed to thrive and improve we should never be defined by our past not even by ourselves let alone anyone else .

"Fourth don’t fight each other, find each other and stand together to stop this from happening again and again. If you are fighting each other you are totally missing the point here."

Following the interview, the 48-year-old star claimed she was on the show to talk about her new business venture Good and Proper Hair, rather than her "old self".

Patsy had appeared unimpressed from the beginning of the chat, when host Ben Shephard asked if she had relocated to the US to get away from being associated with her 'EastEnders' alter ego, Bianca Jackson.

The presenter asked: "Did you move to get away from people shouting 'Ricky' at you in the street?"

She replied: "Um, not really not just for that reason, maybe one of them."

And after co-host Susanna Reid suggested she had "done what Meghan and Harry did" to start a new life in the US, Patsy took further offence.

Referencing former presenter Piers Morgan's mid-show decision to walk off set last week, she said: "You know what, I don't even want to do this interview, because I don't even want to look what it says at the bottom of that screen.

"So I am just going to switch off, do a real Piers Morgan, and say it's not OK to have 'addict to wellness guru' on the bottom of the screen."

Susanna apologised, but the guest remained unhappy.

Patsy said: "My issues that I had years ago, that were talked about many years ago, and it's over, so I am not going to talk to you, don't worry about it but I don't want to talk to you."
