Pasha Kovalev remembers Caroline Flack accidentally stealing his Glitterball Trophy after their 'Strictly Come Dancing' triumph.
The 41-year-old dancer won the BBC's Latin and ballroom competition alongside the late TV presenter - who took her own life in February 2020, aged 40 - in 2014, and he fondly recalled a funny moment after their big moment.
Appearing on ITV's 'This Morning', he smiled: "I remember she stole my Glitterball!
"After, at the after party after the final, I looked at my bag and it was gone! Actually, she took it... I had to go and chase her and grab it off her."
Dermot O'Leary laughed after hearing Pasha's story, and admitted he wasn't shocked.
He said: "That doesn't surprise me about her at all! I'd known her for many years - we started out together, we had the same agent for a very long time.
"I never, ever saw her happier than when she was doing that show, it was just her happy place."
Pasha replied: "She got a lot of confidence at that time, and that boost obviously carried her through."
And Dermot's 'This Morning' co-star Alison Hammond - who also competed in 2014 alongside her pro partner Aljaz Skorjanec - remembered the close bond between the contestants during 'Strictly' that year.
She added: "Caroline was like, 'I want you to get through Alison, I want you to get through!' I'll never forget it... We just wanted each other to go through."
Meanwhile, former 'Strictly' pro Kristina Rihanoff - who became friends with Caroline - recently admitted she feels "such guilt" that she didn't reach out to her before her death.
She said: "I should have reached out ... I feel such guilt.
"Maybe it wouldn’t make a difference, but looking back I think maybe I should have reached out and I felt really sad about it. It didn’t leave my head for a long time."
