Melinda Messenger is “training to be a dream guide”
The Page Three legend proved that her good looks go with books by training to become a psychotherapist - a goal she reached in 2015 - and now wants to dive into the subconscious mind and help others “understand their dreams”.
The 52-year-old former glamour model told the Daily Star newspaper: “I’m training to be a dream guide.
“I’m developing it and I’ll be working with people to understand their dreams… they can tell you so much about yourself.
"They can tell you things you weren’t aware of and things you might be struggling with. They can be a medicine and a diagnostic tool.
“Helping people understand their dreams can them understand themselves better.
“It also helps them navigate through life and heal certain things. It’s exceptionally powerful.”
Melinda - who is taking part in Season Five of Channel 4 show 'Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ - also spoke of her “strong spirituality” and the powerful effect crystals have on her life.
The TV star - who has sons Morgan, 23, and Flynn, 21, and daughter Evie, 19, with her ex-husband Wayne Roberts - said: “I have strong spirituality.
“Crystals are little anchor points for energy. They help me deal with everything. I’m a highly sensitive person. I’m very empathetic and open and sense a lot.
“I’ve had to learn through my life how to manage that. If I feel like I need them, I carry them with me. It’s a reminder to be present and stay in myself rather go into my head and start worrying or totally disconnect and fly off."
Melinda accepted the offer to take part on the military show because she was looking for a "challenge". Other stars taking part in the new series include former Conservative politician Matt Hancock, Gareth Gates, Danielle Lloyd, Michelle Heaton and Gareth Thomas among others.
She said: “I’ve signed up for the show because I love adventure and a challenge.
“I love pushing myself and doing things that I think I’ll be utterly hopeless at.
“I knew the idea would be almost impossible for me but I liked the idea of having a go and seeing what happened.”
