Paddy McGuinness wants a hair transplant after seeing the quality of Jimmy Carr's locks.
The 47-year-old TV presenter has decided to get a new do after he was able to see Jimmy's hair transplant up close during the filming of their new show 'I Can See Your Voice'.
Speaking on the 'Two Pints of Lager' podcast, he said: The best one I have seen in the flesh - it was that good I thought to myself, ‘I’m going to get that done’, I got the number of the surgeon - it was Jimmy Carr.
“It’s unbelievable, his hair is like an otter’s pelt. He said this fella he used doesn’t advertise, doesn’t do any of that, he’s under the radar. I looked at it and I was like, ‘Now that is proper!’ Get it done when no one realises you need it. That’s when they work the best.”
The 'Take Me Out' star first received comments that his hair was thinning during his stint on 'Coronation Street' in 2015 and he now wants to undergo the procedure before he is completely bald.
He explained: "If you’re totally bald and you come into work the next day with eight pubes on your head, what’s that?!
“But if you’ve got a decent head of hair but you’re losing a bit on top, I know a few lads who have a good set of hair and work in the business, and I was surprised they’d had a hair transplant, you’d never question it, their hair just looks really good.
"Do it before you’ve got to the full-on bald stage."
Paddy actually bleached his hair blonde last year during the first national lockdown when all the hairdressers were shut.
At the time, he said: "I attempted it after speaking to numerous professional colourists in the old hair game. I also watched far too many YouTube tutorials."
