Christine McGuinness has revealed she and husband Paddy are "happier than ever".

The 29-year-old model - who has four-year-old twins Leo and Penelope with the 'Take Me Out' presenter - admitted she always wanted to be a stay-at-home mother, although she has realised they need to be spending more time together as a couple.
Appearing on ITV's 'Loose Women' on Thursday (29.03.18), she said: "Only recently, I've started thinking i wish he would stay at home a bit more, or I should go with him.
"It's taken this time to realise, and for us to be able to leave the children ... We're happier than ever right now, it's great that we are putting the effort in, and it's just lovely."
The proud parent explained how they both agree on their roles, with her staying at home with the kids, while Paddy, 44, continued to focus on his career.
She explained: "I just wanted to be a full time stay at home mum, that's what I wanted to do. So when the twins were four days old, I waved my husband off to work...
"He fully focused on work, which is what we both wanted at the time. He provided in that way, and I stayed at home with the children."
It comes after Christine admitted the couple's lives were "turned upside down" when they found out their twins have autism.
In a fundraising video for Autism Together's Future 50 appeal, she said: "When my husband and I were first told out twins had autism, it turned our world upside down. I knew it was my purpose in life to be their mum but this really made me want to be the best mum I could be for them.
"I got so many hopes and dreams for our children. I want them to build relationships when they're older ... maybe even get married and have their own little families one day. Most of all I want them to be happy. I want them to live in a world where there is more understanding about autism."
