Paddy and Christine McGuinness have confirmed their split after 11 years of marriage.
Despite the reality star recently denying she and the former 'Take Me Out' host had gone their separate ways, the pair have announced they made the "difficult decision" to break up "a while ago".
The pair didn't give a reason for the split but said they remain on good terms and will focus on co-parenting their three children, nine-year-old twins Penelope and Leo and six-year-old daughter Felicity.
They are currently on a delayed family holiday to Spain, which was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Paddy, 48, sharing a snap of him and Christine looking happy on their vacation.
In a joint statement shared on their respective Instagram accounts, the pair wrote: "We hadn't planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready.
But after the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify.
"A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children.
"This was not an easy decision to make but we are moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children.
"We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together.
They added: "We hope this now draws a line under any more unwanted intrusion into our private life.
"Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter.
"We'll be making no further comments."
Earlier this month, the 34-year-old model silenced claims their marriage was over and insisted that although the pair have been through "difficult times" over the course of their married life, they couldn't be happier and she has "no complaints".
Speaking to OK!, the mother-of-three said: "We’re really good, honestly.
"We have had difficult times but when I look back at our marriage and see where we are now, I think, ‘Wow, you know, we’ve done alright!’
"I first met Paddy 14 years ago and now we’ve got three gorgeous kids, we’ve been married for 11 years, we’re both busier than ever, but doing really great stuff. I couldn’t ask for anything more from him. I’m so grateful. I’m happy, I’ve got no complaints.”
The former 'Real Housewives of Cheshire' star went on to praise Paddy for being "all about the kids".
She added: “He used to struggle to switch off from work when he came home and would be in his office writing or whatever.
"But now he can see the kids are getting older and how fast time flies. So when he’s at home, he makes it all about the kids. We’ve all grown as a family and it’s lovely.”
